• This unique system features a pre-assembled Sked® stretcher for extremely quick installation in the water. Using inflatable CO2 float blocks, this system can be in the water, ready for use, in less than 30 seconds. A patient can be packed and ready for collection in less than 30 seconds. Designed specifically for Navy, Marine and Coast Guard use, the Rapid Deployment System places the Sked® Stretcher together with the Sked® Inflatable Flotation System in a large custom-fit duffel bag. The system is kept fully rigged in the bag. To deploy the system, the user simply unzips the duffel bag, activates the CO2 cartridges, pulls two straps and drops the ready-to-use system into the water. Skedco also offers a Rapid Deployment Conversion Kit that includes everything for rapid deployment except the stretcher, for those who already own the Sked® Basic Rescue System.
