The MPD

The MPD allows you to go from lowering to increasing without having to change the hardware. More than nine years of research and development have gone into the patented Multi-Purpose Device (MPD), which features significant innovations in advanced technical hardware for rope rescue professionals. The MPD’s high-efficiency pulley, with an integrated rope grab mechanism, allows the MPD to be used as a lowering device on mainline and belay line systems and can be quickly converted to a lifting system without the need to replace or replace any hardware.
